Innovo Detox is proud to announce the promotion of Rosann Poe, BSN, RN, to the position as Innovo Detox’s new Director of Nursing. Previously employed on staff as a Detox Nurse, Rosann will now step into her new position to oversee and support the nursing staff at the detox, while working with the Innovo Detox leadership team.
“I am honored to have been given the opportunity to serve as the Director of Nursing for Innovo Detox,” Rosann said about her new position within the organization. “I look forward to supporting and growing the nursing team, as well as maintaining a strong interdisciplinary relationship among all departments with the facility.”
Before her employment at Innovo Detox, Rosann was fortunate to have worked in a variety of areas within the nursing profession. To begin her healthcare career, she spent many years in acute care, both within medical and surgical areas, as well as on obstetrics units. She was also employed as a Nursing Instructor in two different LPN programs, educating and grooming the next generation of licensed practical nurses in the profession. After that, Rosann expanded into the long-term care space as a Clinical Educator and Assistant Director of Nursing at a facility. She also was the Principal Trainer on a project team of healthcare professionals that built and implemented a new documentation system for a major healthcare organization.
Moving into the new role of Director of Nursing, Rosann will work closely with Innovo Detox Executive Director Molly Ashcroft, Medical Director Dr. Alok Saharan, our nurse practitioners, and the other department heads to oversee and support the direct care staff at Innovo Detox. Managing the nursing department, Rosann will continue to support direct patient care, and ensure that the nursing staff and medical department are working effectively with the clinical, admissions, and recovery support teams.
