Innovo Detox is pleased to announce the promotion of Troy Mummert to his new role of Community Outreach Specialist! A member of the Innovo Detox team since April 2021, Troy previously worked on the Innovo Detox recovery support staff team as a Therapeutic Assistant, providing direct care and support to patients during their treatment experience going through detox at Innovo.
“We are thrilled to welcome Troy to our Business Development team,” said Mallorie Schwartzman, Director of Business Development at Innovo Detox. “He was a valuable asset to the Innovo Detox recovery support staff, so his experience and passion for helping his community makes him the perfect person to support those needing help for addiction within our local community in Central PA.”
In Troy’s new role as Community Outreach Specialist at Innovo Detox, he will be responsible for the business development, professional outreach, and community outreach initiatives of the organization within the Central Pennsylvania counties local to Innovo Detox. Specifically, Troy will focus on the Innovo’s home county of Adams County, as well as the surrounding Pennsylvania counties that include York County, Lancaster County, Cumberland County, and Dauphin County. In this new role, Troy will help create awareness of the detox, withdrawal management, and medical stabilization services that Innovo Detox offers those suffering from addiction and co-occurring disorders, as well as build relationships will other local healthcare and addiction treatment providers, mental health therapists and counselors, local businesses and EAPs, government entities, and community organizations.

I am eager to explore the surrounding counties and share information about Innovo Detox with the community at all levels. I enjoy meeting new people and forming a bond with area businesses, healthcare professionals, organizations, and clinicians. Born and raised in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Troy is intimately familiar with and has strong ties to the local community. Before working in addiction treatment and behavioral health, Troy spent time in holding numerous different management positions for businesses and companies located in both Adams County and York County. His experience includes the manufacturing field and the healthcare industry. Troy’s passion is both driven from working in the field previously at Innovo Detox as a Therapeutic Assistant, and through his own personal process of recovery. Outside of work, Troy enjoys experiencing the outdoors by hunting and fishing, traveling, and spending his time with family and loved ones.
